Four years have gone by since I last snowboarded. Snowboarding used to be my life, it brought me more joy than anything else ever has, and I never quite realized it till recently. There is just something so free and creative about snowboarding, and it puts my mind at ease. I’ve missed it so much, and have been re-bitten by the snowboarding bug. This last week I was in Colorado, snowboarding at Keystone and Breckenridge. While I would have loved to take my camera out on the mountain and snap some photos, a few factors kept me from doing so. First and foremost, I didn’t want to risk damaging any of my equipment out on the slopes, but more importantly, I needed to just ride and be free from everything for a few days. It was bliss, it was euphoria, it was just what the doctor ordered I think. Regardless, you can’t ride the mountain all day, and when the sun goes down in the mountains, the evenings get wild. I partied with old friends, made some new friends, and took a bunch of photos of the partying along the way. A big thank you, and much appreciation to anyone who let me crash at their place this week, I owe you one!

Click the “View More…” link for a slide show and a direct link to the album on my flickr account. I posted some camera phone photos of the mountains and what not on my twitter.
