So back in January my iPhone (original) started developing grey lines of what looked to be dead pixels at the top of the screen, but in all reality they weren’t dead, because the lines would shrink and grow. I just accepted it and got used to it because my phone was unlocked for T-Mobile which made it impossible to take it into Apple to get it fixed. Recently though it started developing the grey lines in the middle of the screen, and they only grow, never shrink. So I started checking craigslist. No luck, just a bunch of scammers.

Finally yesterday while wandering around the Forum Shops in Vegas I stumbled across an Apple store and I wandered in. Go figure I left the $50 gift card I have to Apple from my Mom in Columbia, but regardless I sat down and applied for an AT&T contract so I could get a new phone. I really just did it because I was bored, because I assumed I would get denied, seeing as I royally screwed my credit up in my late teens/early twenties, and am now paying for my mistakes. Low and behold I WAS APPROVED. So I opted for the 3g, not the 3gs, because it was only $100. Luckily my number ported over from T-Mobile just fine, and I am happily now cruising the mobile interwebs on 3g as opposed to EDGE.

Granted with my luck, the iPhone will probably move to Verizon in the next year haha.
