Welcome to the redesigned artripoli.com. I’ve been photo blogging for quite some time now (and don’t plan to stop), but needed to make my portfolio work more up front and easily findable to future clients. I am really happy with how this all came together and hope you enjoy it too. If you find anything wrong with the site technically, please do not hesitate to email me and let me know.

Well the article about me came out today in VOX. For anyone local to the Columbia area you can grab VOX for free downtown in a number of different kiosks or other places (such as Slackers). For anyone not local, you can read the article here. Thanks to everyone at VOX involved with the article. I’m flattered to be called “adorkable,” hahaha.

Well after some input from Justin Scott I decided the other week to try and get a lightbox mod up and running… Failed. I tried a few days later… Failed… Today at about 11:45 I took the site down to really give this a shot… After getting super pissed, breaking part of my desk, and developing a massive head ache I now have it up and running, and all posts loaded with images from here on out will be sporting the lightbox mod. I also went back and updated the most recent photo shoot with Roxie from Q106 to be up to par with the lightbox ish.
So to show you what it basically runs like, heres the Hollywood Rebel Photo shoot from the other night. You can click each individual image and see it load, close it, and open another, or you can navigate through them with your arrow keys. All my sets/photos on the site in the future will be running like this with a link below to the album. Thank god
Note: Make sure my site is fully loaded before you click on pictures, otherwise they will load in a new window and not in the lightbox mod. By the time you finish reading a post the site should be fully loaded. Thank you.

I crashed my old database and lost all my posts. In the process of experimentation/updating my wordpress build I corrupted a bunch of shit and can’t fix it. Oh well, important thing is, I didn’t lose my photos. So what now? I guess I just keep plugging along like I always have… Expect to see a lot more updates, especially in the next few days, because it’s killing me how bare this all looks. I guess I need to learn to back my stuff up more, and be a little more organized with all my digital nonsense.
Oops, live and learn right? Anyway, the site isn’t nearly, “perfected” yet, but I have friends in town, plus New Found Glory and Four Year Strong is tonight, so I’m off to see people.
