Well I’ve been tremendously busy with life, photo projects, and working at the shop, but I have been shooting photos for fun when I get the chance here and there. I shot some photos of my friend Brooke with my roommate Steve’s snake Carlos the other day, and then last night I messed around shooting photos of my lovely friend Kelly Shoe. November17th
Last week I went to California for my Grandpa’s 80th birthday party (Check that album out here). While I was there my Aunt Candi asked me if I’d take some senior portraits of my cousin Kieli. Some quick brainstorming and a last minute shoot and we came up with some really nice images.
November5th
So in my constant effort to teach myself new techniques and expand on my portfolio I asked my friend Liz to accompany me to the Devil’s Ice Box for some photos yesterday afternoon. My good friend Alex came along who had a lot of bright ideas and we went to work. It was a good time and I was really happy with the shots we walked away with.

We had a huge party for Halloween, I set up a quick little “photo booth” and also roamed around and took photos… Unfortunately I partied a little too hard and too much and only took roughly 60 useable photos before I passed out. October30th
I’ve been shooting a lot of random portraits recently trying to learn new techniques and expand on my portfolio. Luckily the weather gave us a break the other day and my new friend Liz agreed to model for a few shots for me. Liz was also part of the Rad Tank Tops photoshoot and is extremely photgenic and just an all around nice girl. I look forward to working with her again.

Nothing major recently… Shot some photos of Nic getting her three quarter sleeve outlined the other night, also shot some photos of my friend Caleb again, and did a topless zombie photoshoot for a submission to a local art zine. October12th
Last week was so busy. Work, two shows in two different cities, a photoshoot on Thursday, work, and Oktoberfest (pics in next update). Thursday’s shoot was with radtanktops.com… They’re a custom screen printing company that just started up here in town. I’m helping them build a website soon where they can sell their designs and you can also place orders for custom work. They wanted everyone to just be wearing plain colored shirts, tank tops, and v-necks for the shoot. Some (a lot) of these images will also be used on their website that’s in the works. We had originally planned for an outdoor shoot which involved some cool locations and a trampoline, but mother nature in her typical fashion, decided to rain on our parade. So we shot some indoors shots, and a few in the alley behind my apartment during a break in the down pour. More pictures after the jump.
