Some of my favorite things

So today I got to do a shoot I’ve been dying to do for quite some time now. It combined some of my favorite things; a gorgeous girl, graffiti, and a grimey grungey place… I recently met Jessica and after some very interesting and in depth conversationgs about photography, photoshop, modeling, drinking, graffiti, and all sorts of other random stuff I sprung this idea on her. I won’t lie, given Jess’ list of credentials I was a little intimidated to shoot her at all, but she was all too nice on me haha. Getting down to the location was quite the task but I think was well worth the struggle in the long run. We shot for about an hour and a half to two hours with some downtime to try and warm up (while it may have been 67 out today, down in a sewer we were seeing our breath haha), drink some trops, and shoot the stuff about music, people, photography, and all sorts of other random interesting things. I shot 100+ frames, narrowed it down in camera to 65, and then narrowed it down to 8 for this update. There are some others which are more of head shots than anything which may come later, but for now I feel these 8 shots really captured everything we were going for. Feel free to leave some feed back and let me/us know what you think.

Kelly Shoe Portraits

So tonight I (Tony) shot photos of the second person to jump on our end of the year portrait session special (read below for details), my close and dear friend Kelly Shoe. Kelly and I have know each other for quite some time and she has always been one of the nicest and friendliest girls I’ve ever known. Taking photos of her was a real treat as we laughed and joked around the whole time. We shot the photos in the back of Sapphire Lounge next to the freezer, and despite it being cold back there she still let me hit her with a fan for a little bit, she was a real trooper. This series was an absolute blast and I look forward to working with Ms. Shoe again. Check out my favorites of the shoot below, and click the link to see the full set. P.S. A password protected web gallery on our print ordering partner site in which you can view your photos and select ones you would like to order for prints, or give the password to family members and let them go to town on it. We also will shrink down the photos, watermark them, and upload them to our flickr site and showcase them on our page here. You are more than welcome to save the photos off of flickr and use them with the watermarks for your personal use (ie myspace/facebook/etc.). If you have any questions or would like to schedule something, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will allow you up till January 31st to schedule a time and date, but we will stop booking the freebie shoots as of December 31st! Act fast! Tell your friends!

Rookie Photo Shoot (12-15-08)

Tonight I (Tony) had the great pleasure of shooting photos of my good friend Jon (aka Rookie). Jon is a very smart young man with a bright future ahead of him for sure. He currently is attending Mizzou and works his butt off as a bar tender at Campus Bar and Grill downtown. If you’re ever out and about, stop on in and visit him, grab a drink, and have a good time. We shot these photos in his apartment and we bother were extremely pleased with the final turnout of everything. Let us know what you think!
