Last week my good friend and roommate Ryan moved away and we threw a little party for him then went out and had a night out at the bars… It had been a long time since I had taken my camera out partying, but I was more than thrilled to document his last night in town. Ryan is moving to Kansas City to go to school to become a massage therapist.

January30th
So my friend Heather finally hit the big 21, and in typical style, all her friends made her a shot book, we all went downtown and proceeded to try and kill her with booze. She survived. She took her 21 shots like a champ and kept going. I caught up with everyone when they got done with dinner and hit the bars, we went from Big 12 to Harpos to Tonic and back to Big 12. I do believe Heather is the last of the gang to turn 21, so luckily I’m done shooting 21st parties for friends (at least for a while haha). I have fun shooting them, but it’s always such a cluster-#$%^ and we’re always all over the place. Oh well, it’s always worth it in the end. It was quite a night of quick dinner, quick drinking, quick passing out, but I managed to snap some shots before I had to take off to handle some personal matters. Check the favorite shots below, then click the link to go view the whole album.

November2nd
Well Thursday Bri finally dinged 21. So we celebrated, they started early at Hemmingways, and then we all met up at Big 12 (aka Campus Bar and Grill), then moved on to Tonic, then ended back a Big 12. After the bash she headed home and I headed back to Vega, Billy, Al, Rookie, and Pat’s place above Slackers. After bars got a little nuts when everyone decided that dancing on Vega’s bed was a good call. His bed is now in pieces, but hey, we at least had a blast right? Then Friday night rolled around, the boys above Slackers were throwing a pre-bar kegger with their neighbors across the hall, so I rolled over there. We proceeded to float the keg in about 90 minutes tops and then decided that rolling it down the stairs was a great idea. Once the fun of throwing a keg down two flights of stairs had worn off we headed to Big 12, from there we checked out the new upstairs bar and patio at Quintons, and then made our way to Harpos. I ended the night at my boy Mac’s house for some after bars and then got a ride home. What a great weekend.
