So the other day I’m looking for a memory card to throw in my computer. Alex and I had just got our wireless triggers in the mail and we were jumping for joy, ready to give them a shot. Now normally there are memory cards laying all over my desk, my dresser, my ironing board, my tv stand, my bureau, hell even in my bed… I leave a path of memory cards where ever I am it seems. It’s handy because finding one when I need one is never an issue. So now I’m looking for a memory card and all of a sudden, NOTHING… Literally I cannot find even 1 SD Card laying around. So now my temper starts to flare up, I credit this keen ability to go from 0 to 60 in a drop of a hat to my Dad. My Dad is the coolest, calmest, nicest guy in history, always on the level, but if you move his tools, get a tape stuck in his tape player in his truck, or any other slightly annoying thing he is liable to “flip his shit.” I think I inherited this trait from him, because within 2 minutes of not finding a single SD card anywhere in my room I might as well have been a suicide bomber. Then alas! I find one… Put it in the camera, go to take a picture, and I get an error I’ve never seen on the screen. Corrupted Card… So now I’ve gone 0-60-0 and now quickly back on my way to 60 again. I reformat the card in camera, still corrupted… Luckily I found an SD card on the floor near me asap and forgot about the damn corrupted card till today. So I plug the card into my computer, not sure what I’m going to find, only to discover it’s filled with photos… All photos I’ve already uploaded, so it’s worth deleting, but then I found a couple cool shots from a trip out to Lawrence this summer with Fare Thee Well and my band Get Serious. So without further adieu here are 6 random shots I was stoked to find on a memory card that almost gave me a brain aneurysm.

Yo last night my band, Get Serious, played a local show with our boys in Fare Thee Well, and our boys from Take Control and Just Do It were here from Iowa. Check out the photos below. Thanks to Alex Haycock for taking the Get Serious pics with my camera.

Last night I took photos of The Golden Age and Fare Thee Well, Alex Haycock did me a solid and took photos of Get Serious. Unfortunately I had to bounce before Pharos played because I had promised a friend I would go out to eat and to the bar with his dad and uncle. It also didn’t help that I forgot to charge my batteries, so I couldn’t shoot nearly as much as I would have liked. Oh well, live and learn.
